Position Navigation Time as a Service

(PNTaaS) Remote Receiver

User Equipment

Purpose of the Remote Receiver is to provide Pseudo Range aiding to an Assured PNT devices and can operate in the absence of GNSS

  • Multiple Software Defined Radios (SDR) are supported and reference designs provided for custom integration

  • PNT operation can be supported with a single channel SDR

  • One or more omni-directional antennae tuned to different frequency bands for resilience against jamming

  • A-PNT device should include a clock for timing and an IMU for mobile applications

  • Internet link to PNTaaS Cloud server

SDR RF front-end captures data-snapshots coincident with published monitor correlation data snapshots

SDR processing engine processes correlation data snapshot to:

  • Receives correlation data snapshot and SoOP Location data

  • Correlates locally received signals and publishes precise Master Clock reference Time for the start of the correlation data snapshot to publish to the cloud

  • Uses SoOP Location data and Time from Cloud to provide Pseudo Range updates

  • Corrects local Inertial and Clock A-PNT device using this local Pseudo Range update
